So the USPS delivery system is breaking down, buyers don’t appreciate the national and international events that are making shipping very difficult, and eBay’s solution is “heeeeey, how about we just encourage sellers to pay more than twice as much shipping out-of-pocket to make the customer happy?”

I don’t suppose you could consider something a little more pro-seller, like I don’t know, removing feedback whining about slow shipping speed. But that wouldn’t help your bottom line. Sellers always gets screwed. That’s the eBay law.
