Magic Treasure Ponies was an unreleased spin-off line from Treasure Trolls. From the eBay description:
“This is an unreleased unpainted one of a kind prototype light plastic mold Magic Treasure Pony prototype. This concept was created by artist Dexter Liu & his wife. This is a very cool piece for toy collectors and a one of one item.
Dexter Liu told us the following regarding this proposed toy line:
“Yes, we never made them though. They were intended as another extension of the Treasure Trolls property. Too long a story to explain. TT was licensed by Ace Novelty Bellevue WA at the time.
These were prototypes and sales samples we created for a variety of toy accounts like Toys R US, Walmart, Kmart, etc.”
This is a resin cat that was sold by the same seller. I’m guessing the dots on the head and down the back were indicating holes for rooted hair:
