Saturday, June seventh, the Dream Valley Swimming Team beat the Midnight
Castle Nightmares in a ten-mile swim. All the members of the Dream Valley Swimming Team
came one after another, their faces showing bundles of pride. The trophies went to the first,
second, and third place winners. First place soon belonged to the one and only, Sea Breeze; the
second, going to Water Lily; and finally, last but certainly not least, the third going to the strong
little baby, Tiny Bubbles!
"This is such a surprise to me because I'm only a baby and I received a trophy. But,
I practiced for a year," Tiny Bubbles replied after the race.
Well, I think that practicing really payed off for Tiny Bubbles, and good luck to her
next time. Well, what will we expect for her next race? What can't we expect?

THREE NEW FLAVORS HIT DREAM VALLEY
Early yesterday morning a delivery arrived at Lickety Split's Ice Cream Parlor
packed with ice cream. The only kinds of ice cream on the truck were the three new flavors, but I
could only stuff my face with two of them.
The flavors were created by Lickety Split and Scoops, who work at the ice cream
parlor. The new flavors are called the ice cream trio: Chocolate Chip and Mint Delight, Cotton
Candy Creation, and Butterscotch Creamers. Ohhhh! That makes my mouth water!!!!! Be sure
to go and try them right away!!!!!!

WILD BERRY FEST
Tomorrow afternoon will be Dream Valley's third-annual "Wild Berry Fest"! If
you're new to Dream Valley or want more information on the event, I'll tell you, of course.
All the berry-themed ponies will perform songs and dances for us while carrying
around baskets of their favorite fruits.
"The Berry Fest if for ponies like me," Sugarberry says, "who want to celebrate
their ancestors."
What she really means by that is to celebrate your symbol. There's all different
kinds of symbols, such as berries, so we decided to celebrate it. Confusing, eh? Well, it kinda is;
I guess we just love to celebrate!!!!!

Music and laughter carried through the air as Floater and Windy walked to the ice
cream stand at the Ponyland Fair. Working behind the counter was Scoops. "Hi, girls!" she
called to the two wide-eyed ponies. "I volunteered to help at the ice cream booth. Anything I
can get you?"
"Certainly," both ponies exclaimed at the same moment. "Make mine swirl," said
Windy. "I'll take chocolate, please," grinned Floater. "You know how much I like
chocolate!"
After Scoops got the cones ready, Floater and Windy continued their stroll around
the attractions at the fair. They watched as Sugarberry threw darts to win a prize-- a cuddly plush
Bushwoolie. They had almost decided to ride the roller coaster, but then joined Buttons and
Lofty on their way to the Ferris wheel.
"The Ferris wheel is so exciting," squealed Windy. "You can see forever and ever
when you're at the top of the wheel!" Giggling, the ponies buckled themselves into their seats.
Windy and Floater sat side-by-side, enjoying the thrill as the Ferris wheel began to move.
"Hang tight!" advised Floater. When the wheel reached its highest point, they could
see Paradise Estate looking like a dollhouse in the distance. "Cool!" stated Windy.
As the wheel came down again, Floater realized that someone was crying. Looking
down at the ponies on the ground, she saw Puddles and Peeks in tears as they gazed up into the
sky. Floater looked up, too, and against the cloudless blue heavens she saw a yellow balloon
which obviously had escaped from the sad twins.
That must be what they are crying about, Floater thought to herself.
Quickly, she explained her plan to Windy; then she leaped into the air and flapped her wings,
carrying herself away from the Ferris wheel and toward the fluttering balloon. She came up under
the balloon and grabbed the string in her mouth. "Success," she smiled.
Circling back to the crowd around the Ferris wheel, Floater neatly landed by
Puddles and Peeks. The two teary-eyed ponies broke into wide grins as they realized that their
balloon was safely back. They nuzzled against Floater, thanking her for coming to their aid.
"Thank you, Floater," said Puddles, looking admiringly at Floater's delicate, yet strong, wings.
"Yes, thanks Floater," Peeks added. "We love you!"
Floater smiled at the happy twins, and then with a toss of her shining melon and
green mane, she flew back to her seat on the Ferris wheel to finish her ride.
"Nothing makes you feel better than helping a friend," she whispered to Windy as
the ponies continued their ride, "except when you can help two at once!"
